PKF is honored to announce its eight 2020 summer interns have successfully completed their summer internship program in Haiti. We would like to congratulate our summer interns for doing an amazing job in the business pitch competition! There truly were no winners or losers; both teams did a phenomenal job and presented fantastic business plans.
Our 2nd annual PKF Summer Internship was a huge success! This year we focused on entrepreneurship development, project management, and business planning. We are incredibly proud of our PKF Summer Interns for the fantastic job they did during the business pitch competition. Each team developed a viable business plan using the business canvas model and presented their venture to a panel of business and community leaders in the community. The pitch competition provided these phenomenal students the opportunity to develop their creative skills to create a value proposition to solve a need in the community. It was readily evident that the internship program sparked an interest in entrepreneurship in our interns.
We would also like to give special thanks to Yvon Multi-Service Express (Amos Yvon), Health Equity International and Haiti Projects, for being amazing partners and helping make the 2nd annual PKF Summer Internship program a tremendous success.
